Welcome. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services and website of VDB Curated Travel, LLC, including its DBA, Journeys by VDB (collectively referred to as the "Agency"). These Terms apply to travel services provided by the Agency and to the use of our website, www.vdbcuratedtravel.com (the "Website"). Please read these Terms carefully. Your use of the Agency's services or the Website indicates your acceptance of these Terms.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms set forth your responsibilities and limitations regarding use of our services and Website. They include disclaimers, limitations of liability, and waiver of certain rights. By using the Website or booking travel services through the Agency, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision, do not use our services or Website.

ABOUT US

We are VDB Curated Travel, LLC, a California limited liability company, doing business as Journeys by VDB. All services and offerings under either name are governed by these Terms.

PLANNING AND BOOKING

The Agency may charge the following fees:

• Air (Domestic or International): $60 per ticket

• Custom Trip Design: $350 for multi-destination, bespoke itineraries

• Booking Alterations: Fees vary by complexity and timing

• Trip Cancellation: $200 for custom itinerary cancellations

CARRYING IDENTIFICATION

You are responsible for securing and carrying all required identification, passports, visas, and other documents. For full requirements, consult TSA, U.S. State Department, and destination country websites.

ENTRY AND EXIT REQUIREMENTS

Some countries restrict entry based on criminal records or passport expiration. The Agency is not liable for denied entry. You must research and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

SAFETY

You are responsible for reviewing travel advisories from U.S. government sources. The Agency does not guarantee the safety of any destination. Travel involves inherent risks, which you assume.

AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

You represent that you are over 18 years of age and legally authorized to book travel for yourself or others. You agree to supervise the use of services by minors.

COMMUNICATIONS

You warrant that all information provided to the Agency is accurate and agree not to make fraudulent or speculative reservations.

SUPPLIER TERMS

Separate supplier terms apply to your travel bookings. You agree to comply with those terms, including payment and cancellation policies.

THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS

You authorize the Agency to make reservations on your behalf through third-party platforms. You are bound by those third-party terms.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION

Payment schedules are dictated by each supplier. Failure to pay may result in cancellation. Refund policies vary by supplier. All cancellations must be in writing.

UNUSED ARRANGEMENTS

No refund is given for unused travel services.

CURRENCY FLUCTUATIONS

Prices are subject to change due to exchange rate fluctuations.

BOOKING CHANGES

Changes to confirmed bookings are not guaranteed and may incur additional fees.

HEALTH DOCUMENTATION

You are responsible for obtaining all necessary health-related travel documentation, including immunization records.

PREGNANCY

You must comply with airline or cruise line policies regarding pregnancy. The Agency is not responsible for such policies.

GOVERNMENT INFORMATION SOURCES

Refer to U.S. government sites (TSA, CDC, State Department, etc.) for up-to-date travel and health information.

ISSUER OF PASSPORT

Notify the Agency if you are not traveling on a U.S. passport.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

Compliance with hazardous materials laws is your responsibility. Visit TSA and FAA websites for full details.

INSECTICIDE NOTICE

Some countries require aircraft cabins to be sprayed with insecticide. Check the U.S. DOT website for more information.

E-TICKETS

E-tickets usually expire within one year unless otherwise stated.

LIMITATIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The Agency acts solely as a booking agent. We do not control or operate any third-party supplier. Each supplier is an independent entity. The Agency is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from supplier acts or omissions.

ADA NOTICE

Facilities and services outside the U.S. may not comply with ADA standards. Notify the Agency of any special needs prior to travel.

PRICES

Quoted prices may change due to supplier increases, taxes, fuel surcharges, or currency exchange rate fluctuations.

WEATHER

The Agency is not responsible for weather-related disruptions. Adjustments may be made to your itinerary in the event of adverse weather or natural disasters.

FORCE MAJEURE

The Agency is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government action, or epidemics.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is recommended but not included unless stated. The Agency is not responsible for explaining policy terms. Additional charges apply.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

Our liability is limited to the commissions and fees received from you in the twelve (12) months preceding any claim.

PHOTO/VIDEO

You consent to the Agency using photos or video that include you or your group for marketing purposes unless you notify us in writing prior to travel.

WEBSITE USE

You agree to use our Website only for lawful purposes. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited. We retain all rights to Website content.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Website content is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

CHILDREN

Our services and Website are not intended for use by individuals under 18.

LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SITES

Links provided are for convenience. The Agency is not responsible for third-party content.

DISCLAIMERS

Our Website is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy, or freedom from viruses. You use it at your own risk.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Website or services.
